This hit me as a lullaby to sing to a self or a child at the end of one of those rougher days. That calm confidence that life is long and things get easier.

This is such a hopeful and real lyric. I feel like I've had this conversation with my kids lately, that a given day was "boring" or "not fun" or whatever, and I tell them that not every day is going to be the best day, otherwise there would be no "best". Certainly there are bad ones and it's helpful to ground ourselves knowing that some days truly are better than others and that's just how it is!
