'Your Locked Door'
Skirmish: Repetition (@200ghosts)Liner Notes
Thank you so much for the prompt. I'm sure there will be sooo many amazing songs! Here is my modest attempt. I imagined someone trying to get through to someone else but of course instrumentals are open to suggestions. Please see where my music takes you to. Thank you for listening and for sharing your thoughts. My music is open to collaborations. Please let me know if you are interested.

Wow, the movement in the bass notes against the melody is powerful. This has such a drive to it, you can feel the frustration of trying to be heard through a wall. The verse melody suggests an almost comic exaspiration. Effective composing as always.
It's certainly moody, and has a flavour of the Weimar Cabaret about it. Nice one!
The mood is perfect for the suggestion of @max . "No mom, I'm your son Peter, Johannes was your husband... etc"
This is as lovely piece that slight discordancy (if that's even. word) really adds to the atmosphere or a locked door. Really good take on the prompt.
It brings me to that awful situation resulting from dementia, where the point is reached that the person you knew is no longer reachable. You keep trying to catch a glimpse of that person, but they are no longer present in the body. You keep trying, but the door is closed forever. Tank you for this one.
Nice response and I like the enigmatic title - certainly fits the piano theme of repetition but shifting around evasively as it does so, inviting questions!
This is really nice very expressive. I especially like a base piano notes.
