This was my first year to truly see the aurora borealis. I've waited a long time to have that chance, so I really tried to just be in the moment and realize that this was me seeing plasma physics happening up there, in space not so far away. In the cold Netherlands night, I watched the pulsing green glow and thought about how our instrument will be up there, measuring those same particles.

I love finding songs with keys+singer! Nice celestial imagery throughout. This is the first flute I've heard in FAWM and I'm here for it!

I keep hearing that people in my part of Australia have been able to see the Southern Lights this year, but alas not me. Fabulous that you have been able to experience this, and write a wonderful song about it!

I really like how this takes cold, hard science, and elevates it to the magical and spiritual. Because the wonders of science are magical and spiritual (in my opinion), and they deserve to be treated as such. This song does a terrific job of melding the worlds, in an inspiring and quite lovely way.

Such a majestic and inspiring phenomenon, isn't it? I live in Sweden, though in the very south where we don't see much of it, whereas up north it's quite common. I can relate to your reflections and emotions from the experience that you express in your lyrics..

Really thoughtful composition, I enjoyed the chorus, and the flute solo bridge was a nice touch!
