Trying to get caught up...this was supposed to be #7 but I don't have #6 finished yet (but it's partially down!) For reference a charley horse is a colloquialism for muscle cramps especially in the legs. Got a naaaaaasty cramp in my right thigh last Saturday night after a late gig. So naturally I needed to FAWM that thing! Pretty much just one pass at guitar and vocal, had to punch near the end of the vocal. Still dealing with a head cold and a bit of bronchitis...uff.

Came home late saturday night from a gig Wife’s crashed upstairs in bed with the TV going Figured I’d be nice and not disturb that situation Suspect I’d just keep waking her up snoring

Crash on the sofa with my ol’ sleeping bag for a quilt It really ain’t too bad at all Slept like a log until about 1:30 When a horse named Charley came to call

Rolled over and snapped awake with a start Charley kicked me right in the thigh All of a sudden I couldn’t extend my leg If I tried to move I’d damn near cry

Tried to get up and move around Charley had my leg like a vise Ended up hobbling bent-legged like a crab to the bathroom You know that damn fool horse ain’t very nice

Finally was able to regain full leg ownership And get back to the sofa after all I’m tellin’ you people it’s like shit, piss, and corruption When that horse named Charley comes to call

This is the end of my story I’m just bloody glad it has an end This is my earnest public service announcement That damn horse Charley ain’t your friend
