Mother Nature Smiles

Liner Notes
I am not quite finished with this, but it is close. My computer is about to die, so here it is.
Lyrics
The moon orbits round the Earth With a smile on its face Brilliant stars can’t help but wink Flirting from their place in (outer) space
Mother nature smiles At such a fanciful sight Mother nature smiles She knows she’s taught them right Mother Nature Smiles And her love burns bright
Clouds rest upon the mountain Like the shoulders of a friend Water flowing/coursing down the peak Coaches the river how to bend
Mother nature smiles Such a heartwarming sight Mother nature smiles She knows she’s taught them right Mother Nature Smiles And her love burns bright
The brave and strong evergreens In their sturdy forest home Protect creatures big and small Throughout seasons as they roam
Mother nature smiles At such a noble sight Mother nature smiles She knows she’s taught them right Mother Nature Smiles And her love burns bright
Mother nature smiles At these beautiful sights Mother Nature smiles She knows all will be alright Mother Nature Smiles And her love burns bright

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I am very pleased you enjoyed these lyrics.
Lovely set of lyrics--"Nature" being one of my favorite themes. ❤️
Wonderful write!!! Love the pastoral vibe… I hear full on orchestra or to have something minimalist. I think it’s a well written lyric that could lend itself to several genres and treatments.
Write On Andrea!!
I like the imagery of: Clouds rest upon the mountain/ Like the shoulders of a friend. 😀
Cool, those lines were the first I wrote for these lyrics. I loved the image and meaning.
This is a happy sounding lyric for sure. Nice!
Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed it :)
Beautiful, warm and creative lyrics. I'm looking forward to hearing your collaboration.
Thank you, Nadia. Your positive comments are much appreciated.
Indeed quite the vivid portrait of nature in all its manifest. Hope your computer recovers. My poor Mac Book Pro has bought the farm…sadness.
Thanks for your kind thoughts on these lyrics. My computer is just fine I am happy to say. Sorry to hear your Mac died - bad timing.
Nice lyrics, Andrea. I enjoy the vivid pictures here.
Thanks, Nadine. I am very happy you enjoyed the lyrics.
I like how you take it from space down to mountain tops and finally down to the ground. the chorus part is quite uplifting.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments 😊❤️
Such a pleasant observant hopeful lyric. Nice flow and lots of smiles…Just seems so friendly and loving…
With all the discord in the world these days I wanted to write something about how wonderful the world still is. I appreciate your comments!
This is excellent, Andrea. It's song-able right out of the box. The images you chose are evocative and are painted with loving care. Maybe it's because we just got a puppy, but the stanza about the evergreens really hit me in the feels.
You may have to beat people back with a stick on this one. I may have a swing if you don't mind (and if I have time).
I'm so happy you like these lyrics and wish to collaborate on them with me. That sounds amazing!
I love the sentiment of this one and the personification of Mother Nature. I feel so small and insignificant relative to the expanse of the universe. Hope this one gets to where it wants to be.
Thanks Andy! Justin is going to collaborate with me on these lyrics so a song will be coming at some point :)
Wonderful news. I can't think of a better collaborator for this!
I really like this hopeful outlook and perspective. The rotating “sights” lines have wonderful descriptive words there. Nature at its best and with full faith in what it's doing. Great write!
