Came for a listen to your mixing. Your mixing skills are so great. I loved your song at the previous listen, but now it is so beautifully polished. You are a very talented songwriter and singer. Very special work. May I please ask you whether you wanted that background noise around 2'40 mark, or maybe it's my computer playing up? It does it sometimes.

thank you! i updated it again even after your comment now that i listened through some speakers (i'm constantly tweaking!) can i ask a clarifying question: do you mean the 1:40 or 2:40 mark? the song is 2:40 and i can't hear background noise at the last second but that may be my computer fading between songs. i also don't hear anything at the 1:40 mark either but thought i'd clarify! maybe the mix i did helped? ... thank you so much again!! ♡

Sorry, my bad, I was looking at the right side instead of the left. I still hear it on my phone speakers around 2'15-2'17 and a little softer afterwards for a little while.

yes! i went back in and mixed and mastered after the hour was up and i'll probably still tinker with it if i have time before the end of the month but everything else was in the hour. :)) thank you so much for listening and for the comment!

Oh that legato bass is terrific, and I really like the drone organ that comes in later to double the bass melody, adding even more mystery and atmosphere to this tale of gambling jeopardy. The vocode is a lovely touch too.

Damn your music is so cool. just listened to the 3 you have up so far, I can’t wait to hear the whole album. This song and Here (2016) have such a different feel but they’re both perfect driving around music. I’m so inspired here, my fawm goal was to make enough song for a folk album and then move on to ambient synth but your music makes me want to attempt song writing with synth. Can’t wait to hear more, really nice stuff!!

Love the bass line. So mysterious and supports the vocal. The vocal melody was quite unexpected. That melody is just growing on me as I listen. Very cool song! More I listen the better it gets.
