A very serious song about being silly. Given the topic, I felt it important to use my smallest and silliest instrument, an Enya Nova soprano #ukulele.

There's plenty of scope for silly overdubs here, and I even left a silliness break, but I have stuff to do, so feel free to help by being as silly as you like during the song. #fuc

Not that silliness is going to solve anything, necessarily, but maybe it'll keep us going.

The rattle of a Jenga tower falling to the floor Walking up the staircase and then wondering what for Restaurants and cafes that have never heard of plates The carrot that's protruding from the snowman's happy face

Sleeping in a blanket fort when you are forty eight Sausages and whirligigs and "Discombobulate" The comics and the posters that we're pinning on the wall It's even pretty silly that we've made it here at all

Here's the important stuff. I do appreciate a regular dose of silly, so I'm glad I found your compendium of odd things and activities. That will probably give me my supply of sillies for several days.

Your melody bounces along nicely and your examples of silliness, like "Sleeping in a blanket fort when you are forty eight" have kept me nicely entertained.

Yes! I love how long and involved the lyric is with all of the examples and imagery that makes me smile. Great performance. Those Enya instruments are pretty sweet. I have bought them as gifts for kids and have several students that have one the ukes or guitars. 🙌🎶

Humor is absolutely the best weapon. So glad I can be part of a place like this where we can all be super silly and serious. This was a great serious song about being silly. It's really well done.

I was especially silly during the break, I promise. Mainly by just existing. This is so great (and sekritly very very real). Sign me up for badoings and Swanee whistle, and the occasional discombobulation.
