So great to be back! My 6th year @ FAWM!
I am a multi-instrumentalist: guitar, violin/fiddle, mandolin, and a number of other stringed instruments. I’ve been writing songs since my college years. It would be great if I could find some potential cowriters.
I live in Kenosha, WI, but am originally from the Milwaukee area. I have also lived in the Twin Cities (26 yrs) and Washington DC area (2 yrs).
I’ve been playing lately with my wife, Kristin... in addition to co-hosting the monthly Kenosha Hootenanny with her.

Sorry to take up so much of your page here, but I wanted to say how pleased I was that you enjoyed A Buccaneer From Yesteryear. @scottsimpsonmusic seemed to know exactly what I had in mind with that lyric, and I think he nailed it! Glad you approve!
No need for apologies! I value and look forward to your comments. You’re very insightful . Thanks 😊 for your kind replies and responses.
Hi, again, Bob, I’m back to say I’m so glad you enjoyed The Same Blue Dot. I was delighted with what @scottsimpsonmusic did with these lyrics. It’s so magical to me how the right music and melody and totally transform simple “words on a page.” So glad you liked our song. Thanks.
Bob, I so appreciated your comments on I Know A Little Bit, my collab with @beebeesmith. It was an easy collaboration, at least for me, because the music really did tell me what to write. Thank you so much for your appreciation. Glad you enjoyed the song.
Hey Bob! Good to see you here again. Thanks for the comment. I see you're making a good showing already this year.
Hi Val! I’m having a great time. Look forward to hearing more of your songs. It’s our time of year!
Hi, Bob. Thanks for the welcome message! Hope you have a great FAWM.
Happy FAWMing, Bob! It's almost here :)
Happy FAWM, Bob!
Happy FAWM, it’s gonna be a good one!
Bob! Let's do some music, buddy!
Hi Bob, happy FAWM! Glad to see you back as well :) here's hoping the muse puts plenty of wind in our sails!
Have a Great FAWM!
Hi, again, Bob! I agree with you....@ayeahmur's choice of piano and organ for this song really matched the sadness/melancholy I was trying for in the lyrics. I'm really pleased that you found it effective. And yes, he sure does know his way around the Harmony Department! Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. It means a lot.
