Turning Back

Liner Notes
Perhaps the most conventional Me song I've done this month but what flows flows so
Fairly standard breakbeat and another with much delay on it for perucussion, 3 or 4 synth drones, a thoroughly broken sounding cello sample, and piano from NI Ashlight.

very ambient, like the soundtrack to a nonexistent late 90s documentary or news bulletin. in the best way possible of course!
the swelling pads and rhythmic noisy synths together sound super pretty, the breaks are of course a pleasure to the ears
Cheers man, much appreciated!
This is just massive. Really dig the soaring synths and that driving synth rhythm throughout. Great production too!
Thank you so much! Praise indeed!
This is very "flying above the earth" to my ears, maybe conjuring a cityscape below at night. As a mostly acoustic musician myself, I am in awe of those who can create these sonic textures. It's so very cool sounding!
Well thank you! Glad it was evocative!
And in this case it was mostly too much time in front of a computer but it isn't always that
No idea what a break beat is. This sounds like a busy street in a very futuristic city. after the minute mark we lift into a much more mellower atmosphere. Maybe looking down on the city from the rooftops. Just as the break hits and we plunge back into the streets. What a ride!
Haha well I’m glad you approve regardless! And that’s an excellent way of describing the mood
I like the calm vibes as I wake up this morning. There’s a spaciousness to this that contrasts effectively with the rhythmic elements.
