Wale music

Liner Notes

So a generally anxty start of the month, not for any terrible reason, just staying on top of life and all that, so I wanted to start with some nice relaxing music to yoga to. It's not my first yogeo, but I quite like this. With #new-age music colloquially called "whale music", I had the idea to sample the #Welsh-choir, give it an Enigma-esque feel, and obvs the name. And a reserved length in under four minutes as well.

Lyrics

Wales is far away.

Welsh choir lifted from this page of the internet archive, so thanks to them back in 1969 for the recording. https://archive.org/details/lp_festival-of-massed-welsh-male-voice-choirs_various/disc1/02.01.+Laudamus+(Bryn+Calfaria).mp3

Fantastic sounds - I loved it when the super deep drone first kicks in at about 0.25. Drums are beautifully done. and the horns at around 2.00... brilliant.

Listening to this made chopping leeks for dinner feel epic. It made me thimk of meeting up with a friend back in the googleless dark ages. He had learned some throat singing and demonstrated on some suburban street. I like the idea of writing music to do yoga too.
