Get It Down Yer
Liner Notes
I like to think this song will encourage more of you to consider a regime of heavy drinking and ill-considered ranting at parties. Features the talents (and talons) of @siasa on pot finger guitar.
Lyrics
Get it down you, it won't drown you Half empty bottles surround you Take the boulder off your shoulder The ones outside are still cold
The party never ends Everyone here's your friend Let yourself mend We all need to now and then
C'mon, spit it out. No need to shout If you know what you're talking about You've got opinions? Believe in them Get your plates and spin them
The talking shop is open Nothing left unspoken Jukebox needs a token I think the record's broken
Got to run. Looks like the sun. Coming up over everyone What a sight. Bring back the night. No one needs this much light.
The party never ends Everyone here's your friend Let yourself mend We all need to now and then

Peer pressure gets such a bad rap. Listen to this nice singer who has nothing but my best interests at heart. It seems like an ode to London pub culture which are pretty delightful to visit, though I’m not sure I’d want to live there.
I relished in those days for so long. Had to move on. Yes, I'm a party pooper. 😂
Haha not sure I'm allowed to comment since I played on it, but this sounds good, like something Rod and the Faces recorded late at night after a few too many jars of what made Milwaukee famous...
Probably shouldn't be admitting this, but I've sooooo been there... on multiple occasions. What a fun tune!
I don’t drink anymore, but if I did, I’d select this sweet number on the jukebox. Cheers, mate.
🍺 Oh, this is waaaaay past curfew time ..... been there, done that. 🍺 This is the last one of my listening session today. Great finale! Thank you, bye now, where's the door again?
What a great drinking tune! You’ve summoned my friend in my mind.
