Hey Jon! We were paired for RandomCollab so I was wondering how you wanted to go about it. Either you can make the music first, or I can make the lyrics OR lyrics/tune (what I usually do) first and you match the backing track to my acapella vocal. I don't have pro studio equipment, so if I record my vocals to a backing track you make first, I can't promise it'll sound the best, so maybe you'd want to do it the other way around. But yeah, let me know your thoughts. Excited to work with you! :)

Hi Ally, my preference is, you send me lyrics and I'll send you a finished article from which you can delete my vocal and add yours. But I'm happy if you want to try acapella. I'll do a track and you can tidy up the vocal after. Better than me doing music first, I think.

Okay I can write the lyrics and do the acapella recording then! Was there any specific subject or style you were looking for? I noticed that you are largely folk-pop or country-soul in your music, so I can try to make something that emulates those styles.

Hi Ally, no need to accommodate me. I'm a better songwriter than I am a musician, so you won't be getting any jazz/metal solos - but be yourself lyrically and musically, I'll fit in.
