Lyrics

Illuminated faces Each in their own spaces Different lands and Different places No one living in the present

Landscape passing by Barely even seem to notice Enough to make a grown man sigh How did we come to this

They hook you from your sleep Making promises they'll never keep Scrolling ever down and down Seldom happiness just frowns

Someone needs to do something We can't go on like this If I've learned just one thing Ignorance is bliss… Ignorance Ignorance is bliss

I like the rocking-chair and slightly unmoored feel of the verse, and the chords you've chosen add to that. The fuzziness of some of the elements is a nice touch

That "trippy guitar" tag is right. The vinyl crackle adds the perfect atmosphere. Strong Portishead vibes (yeah, I know, I'm undoubtedly biased when it comes to hearing connections to their work). But oh man, those lyrics land hard right now.

You have a really distinctive voice ! I love me some trip hop beats :-) I like the chord change at the end of the track, nice moody twist.

I like this. Question a lot of us are asking. Yup, we need to do something!

Very dreamy, and yet defiant. And, boy do I agree with "Someone needs to do something We can't go on like this"

Definitely grabs the ear and draws you in. I did wonder wonder about the static/hum and whether it was an intentional or just an artifact of the recording. I kinda like it-- maybe make it even more prominent in places to make it clear that it is intentional-- and could automate it to being it lower/higher in the mix as the song goes along. Regardless, interesting project!
