power pop to the max! loving those jangly guitars and particularly the harmonies in the chorus. fun chord changes and the stabs in the pre-chorus are spot on.

"God forbid you go easy on me" has that dry-witted exhaustion to it that is all too relatable. A bright tune and production. Wouldn't sound out of place on a Too Much Joy record.

Great chorus! I like how the staccato verse and pre chorus build tension which has a great and satisfying resolution in the chorus. Very singable, nice!

This lyric brought to mind a recent gig I played that was a bigger gig than usual. I didn't have straight stage fright just straight up anxiety.

Musically this song reminds me a lot of the East coast Canadian music scene in the '90s. Particularly bands like the flashing lights and Sloan. Love that Vibe. Love those bands! This song is one I really love.
