Thank you much appreciated. I’ve been working for a long time, learning production and recording, and my demos have definitely gotten better! It’s nice to feel that all the work is paying off

I love a song that proves it’s more than a “happy little instrument.” Sounds great. I’m glad you didn’t go for a perfect rhyme every time. The slant rhymes are so satisfying, in my opinion.
Yes! I have found myself drawn to using more and more imperfect rhymes!

Oh, I feel this. There are lots of things worse than discovering a dead coffee pot, but if that's how your day starts, I think the only sane response is to go back to bed. "All you can do is keep on keeping on" is a laudable attitude, but I'll pick a duvet and an electric blanket, any day. Great writing, nicely performed.
And I miss the days when I really would wake up with a cat (a seal-point siamese called Cooper) on my head. He was such a character...

That's an inspiration. I wrote a blues ukulele song a couple of years ago. Maybe I'll try again this month. Your song was well sung and nicely performed. I'm so impressed by all the people on FAWM who can write a song and perform it in a polished demo all in just a day or so. For me, I'm just throwing in some down strums to help me find a tune.
