I enjoy watching streamers on Twitch, watching ordinary people play games and chatting to their viewers. I like finding smaller streamers who only have a small number of viewers because then you can interact with them, they respond to the messages you enter, and I've made a couple of cool friends over the past few years this way. It's a great community. Of course, my dumb ass just ends up connecting too much with people and creating a scenario in my head that is completely unrealistic, because it's better to fantasise over a collection of pixels on a screen than admit that I'm completely alone.

I can hear a production in my head which is impossible to recreate using a piano, but oh well, we roll with it. I do like this song though. I like the change up in the choruses. They scratch an itch for me.

Ah yes the parasocial sorts of relationships we get on these platforms... Anyways, great acoustic one take! I like the syncopated octaves laying the bass down in the left hand. The solo section where you pounded it out was so nice! Great vocals and dynamic contrast between the sections. Great listen!

This is so contemporary! We have the technical means to communicate with others like never before and yet we are more isolated than ever. You express that perfectly.

PS Did you used to post to FAWM under another name? Your raw songs to a minimalist piano accompaniment and your main subject matter has echoes of another guy who I listened to a lot of some time back on FAWM.

Interesting thoughts on perceived relationships vs reality - viewed through the distance of the interwebs, but I see it IRL as well. Nice performance.
