From Mary: #piano #voice #vocables The Avocado Song Collab with Mike Gutierrez Mike and I were paired up as a random collaboration, and we wanted to go for the Made Up Words challenge. Mike sent me these delightful vocals complete with some vocables because I like to put them into songs.

I recorded main vocals and harmonies on Logic Pro and played MIDI piano (using the Steinway grand sound and bass using the Coffee Shop Monstera sound. The drummer was mostly the Virtual Drummer Hotel Cafe’ pattern but for one stop I played a MIDI Portland kit. (Literally one note made up of Tom, low Snare Rimshot, and Crash Right Stop.) I like the key of Bb (major in this case) and how it feels under the keys, and just had a lot of fun with Mike’s words! Lyrics
