"Was it worth it... in the end" I feel like this is a question we should all ask ourselves more often. I really like the 6/8 timing, gives the song a feeling of urgency.

This is so open to interpretation.
That second verse could be addressed to any current Republican member of congress and the chorus could be sung to them after they emerge from the bomb shelter after their hero brings WWIII to our doors.

Good use of repetition i like the sentiment. Catchy melody and rhymes. Pulled me in to the story. Formulas in life is a good approach.

I guess it was worth it! Great performance! I really like the melody, especially the chorus. Very catchy! You didn't even miss a beat when your string broke! Great job with this skirmish! I guess you found the winning formula...

Excellent start with the chorus, it's "simple", but really anything but. The fact that we're left to sit with these words over and over again makes us think to our own lives. Love the 6/8 groove, it really pulls you through with grace and ease, despite the subject matter.
This is harrowing, yet intimate. Another great piece. Glad I found your work this year! Keep doing what you're doing.
