Singer/Songwriter from Ontario. Primarily a vocalist and writer, though I plink at piano and dabble in DAW's. I'm still a newbie, this being my third FAWM, and I love and appreciate everything about the people and the process.
I decided that I wanted FAWM 2026 to be a little more positive and upbeat than the last two years, and it coincides with the 5th anniversary of me and my partner. This project is a love letter to her. I'm sure it'll still be imbued with traces of morose bummer-isms (I can't help myself), but it's coming from a place of deep love. I got back into writing because of her, and I've given her an explicit song or two, but I told her awhile ago that she deserves an album, so here it'll be.
Unfortunately due to my work schedule I knew I couldn't make this in a more "honest FAWM" fashion by writing, recording, mixing and mastering everything within February, so I've gotten ahead by writing and recording here and there since December. Maybe it shouldn't count, but eh. I can't beat myself up about it.
I'm excited to hear everyone's projects this year. FAWM has pulled me out of the mental gutter and I've been looking forward to this all year. In light of the world being how it is I'm inclined to dive headfirst into a community of folks who value art the same way I do. I appreciate you all, endlessly for what you do.
#NoAI as well. But my mediocre production oughtta give itself away!
