Somehow, I felt like doing something cliche ;-) So here we go, walking the Royal Road chord progression up and down. J-Pop? Anime? Here you go :-)

Tools/instruments involved: Bitwig Studio, Diva, Surge XT, a dash of Phase Plant, the inevitable Valhalla Supermassive - and some noodling on my Aerophone for the melody line.

Anime? That's what vibe I get. I wasn't familiar with what the Royal Road progression was, so I looked it up. That is cool. TIL.

The Aerophone sounds cool. The bird sounds give it a surreal energy. I get visuals of walking in a magic forest with euphoric auras everywhere.

The one instrument I learned to some significant depth is the clarinet - so the aerophone is a nice bridge into the digital world for me. Got one second hand last year... still learning. Although it's similar, it still is a new instrument.
