apparently they have blackjacked the downloading rage with the streaming gimmick. the money from those subscriptions is astronomical and still the creators are not getting their share. the song is a riot though and could wind up a classic nostalgic singaong for millenials in another 20 years.

Yes, I got another comment that streaming is the real issue nowadays. But as the Prompt was "Download it!" I just went back in time to write it. 😉

Funnily enough, I didn't read the details. The host was a German guy who had written an electronic music piece and was hoping someone would offer him some lyrics and a vocal for it. One lass did a fine job of that.

“Download it! Download it! Download it!” Thats catchy as hell. It’s easy to imagine an audience joining in, especially live. On a tenor uke, that repetition really drives the groove

Uh, the lyrics reminds me of the 2000s. Right now everything is stream it, and pay for a lifelong subscription, argh! Great take on the skirmish

Lol, love this. I miss the days of early piracy where you spent blood, sweat, and tears (and family pcs) to get your favorite songs in wonderful 3MB tracks that took only 30 minutes (if you're lucky and the track has enough seeders) to download! I miss my iPod so much :( I still have a large collection of the shittiest mp3s possible, but most of my collection disappeared after someone stole my iPod and I've never emotionally recovered from that.

Good take on the theme! You got a really great and funny track out of it, and I really enjoyed it.
