My original plan this year was to make music in a new program I'm writing, but sadly that tool is not ready yet.

Ah, great to hear your stuff again. As always, I love the sounds you use. Right away that warm lead synth just kinda makes everything better. LOVE the melodies you're playing with it - i'm a huge sucker for synthy pitch bends haha Prob said this before but you make the kind of stuff I wish I could make. This is 100% my preferred kind of listenin'. Lovely synthy warmness gently pumping in the back, the simple drums providing a laid back beat (excellent classic snare and love the subtle clap), and that lead...yeah man this is excellent. Second listen time.
dam i need to try ableton's Analog if this is how good it can sound!
Just a dab of Echo and Chorus really helps Analog get some sheen. :)
Dripping in synthy goodness! Love the bass line, it really anchors the track, supporting the lovely lead. An enjoyable listen!
I mean would I expect anything less than something awesome? Of course not. This sounds fantastic.
I like this track very chill. I also like the sound which soft synths did you use?
Stock Ableton Live sounds, mostly the 'Analog' synth.
That is some tasty Moog/Odyssey. Keen to know which version you used (or if it's the real thing!)
Certainly a fine emulation, but it's sadly soft synths. Though I do have a nice Korg MS-20 mini that can get some sounds like that!
Really enjoyed this. Love that smooth synth lead. Excellent production! Love how this builds energy as it goes. It kind of reminds of Tycho a little, but with more of groove to it.
What program are you writing?
Thanks! The music tool is looking to be something similar to the old 'music tracker' programs, but a little more modern.
Sounds cool. I've not delved into tracker programs, but I've meant to try.
Splendid stuff. That lead is gorgeous and you obviously have a controller that really lets you get a great performance out of the synth. The subtle way the mix gradually gets brighter is lovely; it's like the sun coming out. Beautiful!
