I was part way through recording another track, which will make an appearance in due course. I added a new track and decided that Soundpaint's Terz Guitar would be a good fit for that track, but, I decided the sound I created warranted its own track, and here it is.

The whole main guitar part was indeed one take, but I decided to add a little bit more, and that proved more of a challenge that I envisaged. The guitar one take was entirely impov'd, so playing along to it was hard, because I wasn't sure which way the next notes were going to go, but nonetheless, the other 3 tracks were also one takes in themselves....so strictly speaking this is 4 one takes stitched together.

Quick note on Soundpaint, I already loved Terz guitar, but I added the BUILT IN shimmer reverb and it sounds glorious.

It is just 4 tracks in the DAW, so overall, I tried not to mess around with this once it was recorded, in order to make it the "purest sound".

Used to make this track: Reaper DAW Soundpaint Terz Guitar SSO Discover Violins Native Instruments Super 8 pad Heavyocity Vocalise with added Stone Voices Ambient Reverb Ozone 11 just to make the sound as crystal clear as I could

lovely floaty vibe. all sits together very comfortably. i always find improvisations have a trance-inducing effect on me, this certainly has that.very relaxing listen!

Don't you love when you find a sound so great you have to stop what you're doing and build a whole different song lol? Doesn't happen for me often, but when it does it's a rush. I can definitely see why you did. That guitar is certainly inspiring. The vocal runs are the icing on top. This sounds so meticulous and put together, I totally forgot that you said it was a onetake! That's insane! Great stuff here.

This is lovely, like @nancy says, a soothing reset for the nervous system. Four one-takes, that's a lot of work, and it sounds seamless and very essentially sweet. Thanks for the listen.

What a soothing nervous system reset. Listening while a crew deconstructs our kitchen. I can feel my chest open and my shoulders untense. Thank you for that. Even with a fifth track of loud drilling it still sounds calming.

This is just stunningly beautiful! That Terz sounds so lovely! The vocal parts are icing on this delicious cake! Excellent production! Such a sonic delight!
