The Spell is Cast, Harrumph!

Liner Notes

So, call it thoughts and prayers, spellcraft, vibes, or quantum physics this was the one, with counter clockwise stirring, that begged to be a song.

Had big plans for more robust noise, contact mics on pie pan, foil, and floor for wide vocals but had to get kid in Long Beach so took sun moon stars with me and worked out a take, made a noise pedals track, and bunches of backing vox. Hope you like!

Oh! Pic is local artwork at the train underpass gallery, many nice pieces but “GEZER EVOLVE”? There plenty of old geezers in need of evolution, eh?

Lyrics

Trump May your endeavors fail Chump May your followers fail Harrumph May the people prevail

Very cool. I'm imagining this is all of the thoughts of a city full of people layered on top of each other and enough of them are thinking the same thing that theirs have been combined into your words are the only ones that fully come through in a coherent language. Perhaps it's a collective prayer? Seems a worthy pursuit. Amen!

A collective prayer for suuure! My dad seemed to feel 100 to be a number to achieve, well, psychic support? Though, the vibrations of many synced has to be something, I did see it’s power save The Doctor once

this is so cool. it’s just noisy enough, but with just the right amount of melody to make it stick in your head. i kind of like that the vocals sort of blend in with the music and noise

Thank you sir!

Little brother of mine, it's a great song. That said, I want your vocals much more front here than this. Your instrumentals are interesting, but - vocals front, man! Let me hear you sing!

Love you brother! Couldn’t help it much, was picking up Jake and you know that time commitment eh, but for (lack of) time’s sake, recorded the vocals n guitar on one (damn them being same frequency range!) and hoped the extras would bring it up…

Didn’t know what to expect and yet was surprised! Very interesting noise track. Kind of ambling, yet a discernible and driving beat. I liked it.

Thank you! The glitchy distortion is fun as I have an LFO in there to control the rhythm

Using an LFO for that is a good idea.
