Lyrics
Tap, tap, tapping on the glass Tap, tapping on the glass Tap, tapping on the glass
Go ahead and drop me Right into the water Collecting my armor And put in its place
Burn me up, then freeze me Squeeze out the tension In molten directions Invincible space
Tensile This body is crazy Fragile Just like a baby Wired Take it back maybe Stronger So unbreak me

the harmonies, the rhythm, the clear and assured vocals. i'm so here for this
Love the sound - very cool vibe with the tap tap tapping and nice use of layered vocals. Really love the guitar here.
Very cool song, I like how the guitar is sort of painting the concept of the painting, and the second voice--when it comes in--was unexpected. However, I do personally feel you should have saved this for later in the song and maybe started the song with a half chorus the first time to get to material sooner. I hate to think like this but in the streaming age that first 30 seconds really matters. Great song, cool vibe, nice voice, great lyrics, you have it all!
I love and appreciate constructive criticism so thank you so much, @innerspear! The idea of starting with a half-chorus is quite intriguing; I definitely tend to start with verses as a default. I'm hearing this as more of a rock song in my head with some good build.
Hey now, this is crazy cool. The only thing I could think about while I was listening was the idea of doing a cover of this. Hopefully I can put one together once my index finger heals up and I can play guitar again. Really great song, Debs!
CC I would be honoured - do anything you like with it! Deserves more power than I can give it right now for sure.
I think it sounds amazing!
The person above me has a tub that leaks a few drops everytime water runs somewhere else in the building so I couldn't help but picture water dripping in similar ways... If its glass it could be the sink, or rain on the window, but I'm unsure. I do know it reminds me of @philkmills song "Rain Someday" which I'm sure you would love if you've not heard it.
