Once again, I'm Pooka, performing as Pookie K. There's already a band called "Pooka" so I can't use that, and there's an American rapper called "Mr. Pookie", so I can't use that either. I'm fairly sure "Pookie" is a term of affection, so I put a K after it.

This is, in potentia, my eighteenth FAWM.

I am a talentless hack with no discernible merit musical comedian with muscular dystrophy and a heart condition. Because of the degenerative nature of my bodily functions, I'm incredibly nervous about FAWMing this year. Last year I had a massive crisis of confidence when it emerged I couldn't play the guitar any more. I've barely picked up an instrument since.

I'm also working on a very basic structure with one USB microphone and a selection of #acoustic instruments. I'm aware that nearly everything I do is #lofi, so that shouldn't come as a shock to anyone. The aim is, once again, to build up a number of songs which could be broadly classed as musical #comedy, but probably will still fail to elicit laughter.

Oh, I also can't sing. I work in a school and run glee club, but that doesn't count.

Most of my songs are #guywithguitar or #indierock type stuff. I accompany myself, nominally, on a guitalele or quarter-size guitar, but I can't play either of them very well.
