This was written with my #LARP character in mind; she had to go into cryosleep and leave her wife behind on the first ship away from a dying Earth.

But it's more than that; this is a #lovesong for all of us, when we say goodbye.

The song seems full of a gentle, peaceful acceptance. The flute fits that well. Listening leads to meditation.

(Question: Is the "We’ll wake together..." section actually possible within their universe or is it an in-a-perfect-world kind of thing?)

Thank you for the comment :) In this LARP's universe, the Earth sent out various cryo-ships to new worlds, and my character left on a different ship than her wife. I'm a new player, so I don't know what stories I'll encounter, but I'm sure she hopes that it's possible (though extremely unlikely). In OUR universe, I think of this song referring to various things: leaving for a long time, death, or even just going to sleep (we are alone for all of them).
