Again, Liz has provided winning lyrics. I love the image of the stone harbour and steel bridge that offer strength and refuge in times of trouble and disappointment. (After the song was completed, Liz sent me a picture of the actual place, so the harbour and bridge are more than symbolic.) I also love the human dimension where a person offers solace to another.

Later, when not pressured by time constraints of five songs in nine days, I want to go back and clean up the harmonies in the last two choruses. For now, consider it a placeholder, a proof of concept.

Love the idea of a stone harbour and steel bridge as ways of describing someone who is there for you. Great writing. And great job Paul on turning this into such a nice songs. Nice doubling of the vocals late on in the song and I really like what I think is a string section. In fact, there are lots of lovely little musical flourishes
