Lyrics

The caviar comes in ounces And the food is covered in gold-leaf The champagne is hideously expensive And everything’s on expenses

When you’re a fixer for the stars The least you can do is drive a flashy car And you never have to spend once cent on the rent Because the luxury mansion is yours

I won’t say how I got this job You’d only be jealous if I told you It’s not who you know, it’s what you know And how you use that to your own advantage

So go back to your dreary existence Me, I’m going to go the distance And I won’t be satisfied till I’m swimming in cash And my birthday bash will be a momentous splash

The secret is having no morals at all No sin is too big, no crime is too small I do what I do to get by Now I don’t even have to try

I love the contrast between the lyric all about excess and that careful and oh-so-melodic and thoughtful melody..what a great contrast and what a great idea for a song, nicely done!

Really nice take on the prompt, you sound conflicted in your role 🙂 Thats a nice melody and the lyrics are loaded with images. My favourite couplet is So go back to your dreary existence Me, I’m going to go the distance
