Soaked to the bone

Another song about the weather. Well, why not?
Lyrics
Soaked to to the bone Thought I’d never see the sun again Not that I like to moan about it The ground could really do with the rain
And from the window now I see the sun is shining once more And the rainbow that I saw this morning Predicts the weather, but I don’t know how
I love the pretty colours, even though it’s just a trick of the light And days are turning colder, going faster into night But we’ve had a fantastic summer, no complaints from me People complain whatever the weather, not content to just let it be
Weather’s gonna do what it will Nothing you can change Put your trust in man made fibres Keep an eye out for the strange
Hurricanes, thunderstorms, tornadoes, cyclones, Shark tornadoes…

I particularly love the melody over the "I love the pretty colours" section, and the harmonies that come in after that! Nice work.
I like the feeling of "nothing you can do about it" that this song creates ... the music has that same feeling of inevitability. But not doom and gloom ... just something we can't control. And, as usual, well sung and well played! Nice skirmish song.
