was debating changing the hook to be when you turn cold, but i think i'm sticking with cruel. didn't catch the double entendre until i had finished writing the song, o well. a slight hiccup on the start of the final outro on this take.

I'm not sure of the right word for it, but this song has a great flow to it, Lee. Everything feels in place. I esp. love the first verse and the one that begins "it's been a while..." And "sweaty hearts" is just awesome. And I like your vocal tone here; I liked your higher range, too, which to me had a yearning quality. This has more experience and authority in a way. Hey, different sounds for different songs!

Lee - I’m so caught up in the way you sing this and the way you strum that I’m only half listening to the words. You can just hear how completely hooked this singer is. And then those cold and cruel words sound so cruel and cold.

Yeah, this takes me back to a woman I once knew with a cruel streak and the vibe of the melody and chord changes fit that to a T. I kinda feel like 'When You Turn Cold' is a whole 'nother song.
