Challenge: FOUND SOUNDS

Liner Notes

So for the challenge this song is entirely comprised of samples I recorded, some have some effects sure but the main drums are books slamming.

Lyrics

The archivist of The Library of Babel Is a terrible person, a terrible person Voluntarily cursed to live forever Sorting books from A to Z

The archivist of The Library of Babel Is a terrible conversation starter He never knows how to begin No he never knows how to begin

The archivist of The Library of Babel Is a pretty good conversation partner Given all the books he has read Yeah given all the stuff in his head

And if you asked him if he found the cure to cancer He probably has but he doesn't remember Which of the books were real and which were liars

Disturbing music at the beginning but it becomes more orchestral later on. Great lyrics. I love that middle eight "And if you ask him...."

Fun idea to have him babble (backwards) at the end.

Books for drums is so cool!!! I love this!! Your lyric delivery is perfect, very vibey. Love the bell solo so much <3 So many awesome sounds! The composition lets them all shine together, really well done! The reversed lyrics are really neat, I love how it sounds. Awesome job!

What an interesting sounding song. It feels like taking ten books and smashing them together. Not just the sound that that would make physically, but the ideas inside. I really dig the lyrics good job
