Liner Notes
if song 2 is so good why is there no song 3
Lyrics
Something in the substrate isn’t holding Numb hand in a warm bed rolling over
I rummage through the dirt And I find the worth And I shine it up And I beg of you To see what I could have become
I’m holding onto scenery Compressed inside my memories Until I can’t find all the maps I need For home I won’t be resting comfortably Sensation gets the best of me But I promise no delivery To your door.
Dead years hanging out here isn’t healthy The armed guards of nostalgia are pointing guns at me
I was tempted by the light I thought I saw behind the mirror And someone was looking But for paranoia’s sake If you could just give me a break And tell me I’m all I could be
I’m holding onto scenery Compressed inside my memories Until I can’t find all the maps I need For home I won’t be resting comfortably Sensation gets the best of me But I promise no delivery To your door
I recognize a litany of Requests are being asked of me But they slide through my hand as I throw them up If the worst I am is cowardly Then I consider that victory And I promise no delivery To your door.
Really liking the vocal tone, really punchy and crisp, hearing some vocal hints of the Cranberries in there every now and then. Nice job!
