#acousticrock #acousticonetake #folkrock Alice in Wonderland discovers the Internet, hardcover edition.

Lyrics

This book is so hard to open And I don’t even know what I’ve got Read More is all it says on the cover But read more of what

I finally get the cover to budge The book opens at page two Everybody’s laughing at someone But laughing at who

Read more Read more But I haven’t read anything Read more Read more Shouldn’t we start at the beginning

I turn back to the preface This book was written exclusively for you The book turns to dust at midnight Can this really be true

A book of time-tested wisdom But it was written only today I am the only one who can read it And at midnight it goes away

Read more Read more But I haven’t read anything Read more Read more Shouldn’t we start at the beginning

The book vanished just like it said I got stopped in the middle But another book appeared in its place The book itself is the riddle

Read more Read more But I haven’t read anything Read more Read more Shouldn’t we start at the beginning

Read more Read more But I haven’t read anything Read more Read more Shouldn’t we start at the beginning

Oh, wow. You’ve really captured my problem with the internet. I love to read but online there’s nowhere to start or stop, so I just get stuck and CAN’T stop. Spot on — this is going to stay with me.

Nice take on the fragments theme -- clever lyric!

this could make for a perfect song for children who need encouragement to read. love how you take an alice and wonderland situation and use it to address modern problems. love the idea of the book that turns to dust at midnight. read it fast while you can, cinderella.

Interesting perspective on things to discover the internet from a perspective where it is completely foreign and also I think it points out how strange the things we take for granted nowadays really are.
