#electronic #synth #synthpop #vocoder I had a surprise day off of work today because of the weather, so I was really ready to dig into some things that I haven't used enough....Well, I kind of have, but I haven't felt satisfied yet. So, I got all synthy today. It started out as a Drumbrute Impact beat that I put together while I learned how to do it again! Well, from there I decided that I would sync that to a synth, so I did that with my MicroFreak. I did a bunch of layers on that and then decided that I hadn't used my Dreadbox Typhon enough, so I used that next. I hadn't touched the MicroKorg yet this FAWM, so I used that. Finally, I hadn't used any vocoder yet, which I really had in my mind to do this year, so I used my MicroFreak again for that. It turned out pretty cool and it got me to sing....Well, I'm not sure if that counts. FOR THE RECORD, I tried to just speak into the microphone and play the notes, but I needed to sing it to get it right, even though I was making the melody with the keys.

People can do whatever they want to and I won't bat an eye. I use AI for simple tasks that are time consuming--those kinds of things that I CAN do but would rather spend my time doing other things. However, as far as with creativity--I really cannot. I haven’t found a way to use AI for creating in a way that is still me-and may never. I do use synths though! Haha. For me, creativity is what sets us apart. It makes us human and also is a huge part of not only enjoying the human experience, but also helps us to process it. Hence the title…enjoy!
