Another quick one on the same prompt
Lyrics
All that glitters, all that shines You might want to take a look sometime A fancy label can often deceive It isn’t always vintage wine
Blind tastings are often used To convince us what we think is true I don’t know how they do it But I’m sceptical through and through
Things can appear to have surface beauty But they’re ugly deep inside Cheap stones can look like rubies Makes it so hard to decide
All that glitters, all that shines It’s just reflection and refraction A trick of the light All that glitters, all that shines

Another good take on the prompt. Love the 2nd verse!
This "Blind tastings are often used To convince us what we think is true" is a Brilliant line in an overall very nice set of lyrics. The melody Awakens a melancholy inside that Suits the words perfectly.
Okay, first off, seriously impressive that you managed not only a second song, but a SOLID second song! I enjoy this dreamy melody, and your voice really shines in this range.
Some great meditations on worth and surface attraction! Fine response to the prompt!
