Great lyric, pets have been such an important part of my family, and they are just that in many ways - family. Our dog and one of our cats are getting old so your song made me a bit sad. Love the elegant harmonies. Such a nice folk song vibe.

This couldn't have been easy. A beautiful song - funny how some people aren't able to sympathise with the loss of other people's animal companions. Lovely harmonies. Very moving

This is so thoughtful and the slow measured pace and your lovely vocals underscore the emotions of the lyrics so well. The concept of respect to me is such an important one. It's what our best friends deserve and it is to me an honor that they agree to share themeselves with us the ways they do.
