Liner Notes

the first line was something a homeless man shouted in a really excited state as I was crossing the street. I was like that's a bar. The rest of the lyrics have been compiled from my list of lines and names, so it's kinnddd of free-association - I'm thinking of it as a MF Doom moment haha.

From the Earl vibes to the the MF DOOM vibes, my god! DOOM is probably my favourite ever rapper. Love this one as well, I love the experimentation but yet it's such an earworm. The kind of thing I'll be coming back to listen to in March and beyond

I'm loving the loop, old-style, with a bit of Sade vibe to the vocals. A smooth soundscape to complement the cool lyrics - I especially liked the broke princess stanza.

Super tasty. All of it paints a vivid picture. Yes, the samurai would get played by that broke princess. Everything is full, but more seems to keep sliding in seashell easy. And the song picks up more than color from Picasso. The loops and lyrics hit in a cubist sort of way. Offset angles, to which the outro is a really nice added perspective.

Stream of consciousness totally works here. This is so sweet and seductive, you could really say anything. The groove is super compelling. Dang, it's over? Gonna have to play it again
