This is a counterpoint in style and lyrics to one I did earlier today called "I thank you".

Great break up song. Killer last two lines. I like the "self-pity in spades" of the narrator. But I can't help wanting to ask him. "Dude? What were you thinking when you got off with that one?"

Really dig the lo-fi vibe of this demo and how you paint a vivid picture of malice and regret in just a few short lines -- really great take on the prompt. I was tempted to invert one of my own songs and couldn't bring myself to do it!
