This is a neat tiny song - just one minute but covers solid ground - I feel like the singer is asking his little darling to sleep, but has a suspicion she is tired in a way that sleep isnt really going to fix, and that soon she will realize she has become tired of him - but all he can do is ask her to sleep on the offchance it actually works - I think its the instrumentation, all muted, understated and with a bit of record crackle. I enjoyed it!
