Lyrics
Wren says: In order of appearance what your hearing is: -- Sample of the final speech Charlie Chaplin gives in the movie The Great Dictator -- two silica gel packets rubbed together -- crunchy gained electric -- iPad synth app: Synth One Dark Towers patch -- two mic booms clanking together -- iPad app: DrumKnee drum kit -- iPad app: Module the Korg grand piano -- ooh ahhh vox by me dripping in chorus, reverb and delay
SavvyAZ:
Do not despair Everywhere you look it seems there’s Hatred, anger, death And indoctrination Warring and tugging Pushing and shoving Do not despair
We stand up for what we know is right Then sometimes we learn that we were Pawns all along And we feel manipulated and duped
Do not despair When everywhere you look it seems Everything is out of control You stop Start close, start small We can control who controls our Heart and mind and emotions Breathe. Sit in silence. Share a hug. Take a walk. Do not despair Do not despair ... @robinleaf (Song #43 for me!): G Em C G Despair not Take my hand These fears can be yours To command
G Em C D, G I am here I'm your friend You don't have to keep alive That which should end ...

My GF liked it a lot, too. She wanted me to send it to her friends and family. She noticed that it speaks to our emotional relationship with current affairs without being partisan or accusatory. "Very artistic", in her words.
This is all the moods, perspectives, places. From the sincerity of the warning to the reality and hope of the first person. Love this so so much.
So many contrasts but it flows beautifully. This is fantastic work by you all. I love it!
That was a fun ride, Peppers! Extra cool stitching job, Russ, sprinkling in parts of the other songs unexpectedly, and even adding background vox responses to my part. Those sax(?) tunes at the end were such a joy, Kirjis!
Thanks, it's keyboard sax, from my Studiologic keyboard! I've been having a blast with that (and the flute sound, too) lately.
It was an honor to spend time with mixing this heady brew together.
Ooh lol, what a beautiful corpse!
Love this so much! Thank you, and great job, everyone! And Russ did a phenomenal job with the stitching. Oh my gosh. I can't wait to play it for a few of my friends that are not on here.
