Had a vague idea about using a volume pedal and also trying to hold the verses on a single chord for quite a while. This was the outcome.
Lyrics were almost stream of consciousness writing, and I'm quite proud of them

The lazy organ just glues this together so sweetly. Great song!
Listening to this makes me think of Dashiell Hammett's "Red Harvest" where his namelss hero, the Continental Op, ends up in a town like this as he investigates a murder.He has very much the same opinion of it...
