Interesting prompt for sure. Here's a quick one which asks questions to which there are perhaps no answers. That sounds unnecessarily deep, lol
Lyrics
Why don’t animals write poetry? At least not as far as we know And what is it that makes us human How far down the rabbit hole will we go?
I used to think that creatures could talk my language I blame Walt Disney for that They communicate, but not like us And perhaps we’ll never know for sure what they’re saying
Why do we say people are behaving like animals When really we just mean that they are behaving terribly Animals don’t act out of cruelty And they probably don’t believe in miracles either We’ll never know
Why don’t animals paint like humans Do they see the world in a different way? And I’m not talking about social media novelties You can call anything art if you strap a paintbrush to it’s tail I’m not sure it’s art, I’m pretty sure it’s not art
What makes humans human? We ask ourselves these questions And we don’t think that animals do But we’ll never know for sure

Some great lines and those repeated questions underline our curiosity with WHAT we are and WHY we are?
Great contrast with how the other creatures we share the planet with act.
deep! from what I understand, art makes us human... wonderful interpretation of this prompt.
I especially love: "why do we say people are behaving like animals / when really we just mean that they are behaving terribly?" THIS!
Sweet performance almost lullabyish. You are a great storyteller
you'd think they would, because everything they say rhymes. a whimsical song. very nice.
Yuussssss I love the stream of consciousness writing in the stanza about "I’m not sure it’s art, I’m pretty sure it’s not art," so fun! This is very Beatles-y, love your style
This is one of my favorite songs this year. Great job.
