Danish Pete

#silly #onetake #DanishPete One for the Andertons fans out there. Based on an unlikely, and probably not true story, but it's just a song...
Lyrics
I can’t be sure but I think I saw Danish Pete Guitar on his back walking down the street His clothes were clean his hair was neat I’d like to think that it was Danish Pete I can’t be sure, I can’t be sure
Don’t know what he’d be doing here It’s really rather strange But I’d like to think it was him Though no words were exchanged I can’t be sure, I can’t be sure
I saw him briefly from the front But mostly from the back Without the guitar I wouldn’t be so sure Still working through my flashback I wasn’t sure, but I think it was him I wasn’t sure
I love to see you play those guitars Reviewing them as you go You and Lee set a high bar You make me realise all that I don’t know
Danish Pete, Danish Pete I think I saw you on the street But I’m not sure, it was a long time ago And you never mentioned it, on your YouTube show

Yeah, I reckon it was him. I mean, all the evidence fits. Maybe he was taking a gander at the vintage sectrion in Dijkmans? That last line is exactly the right way to end things 😀
This just a terrific vocal over these lyrics--great story here. Fantastic job! ❤️
giggling away here! Glad that not knowing the Andertons at all didn't put me off listening. love the second and third verses in particular, nice ending :)
