Well, an interesting notion for a skirmish indeed.

X-rays only show us some physical shadows Not easy to interpret The specialists have their role to play Very careful with the words that they choose to say

A scale of one to ten is hard to understand When we don’t think the same as you We’re not able to say for sure Just tell us what it is you want to hear

Good advice. It is a challenge to figure oneself out, as I have gotten older, I have come to understand how much more I need to work on. Thought provoking!

Really thoughtful lyrics. I like scale of 1 to 10 part. So true... isn't it all relative? This line is also lovely: For every insight gained Another avenue of pain appears

this is such a lovely meditation on what we have inside us and what can and can't be seen. Lovely lyrical delivery too. Mine is so snarky in comparison, but that's the beauty of these skirmishes - to show our diverse "quick" responses.
