#indie #alternative #twang #stereorama This was based off of a loop I made, I typically start this way. It's a fast way to create an idea. I've gotten good at deleting and starting over until something interests me sound-wise. It took me a good portion of today and yesterday to start and finish it. I would work on it and bounce to something else and then try to approach it with fresh ears. 🤷♂️

All the new ground you cover makes this so incredibly fresh. I really appreciate the adventurousness - yet it's all stitched together with such pop skill you'd think people had been making songs just like this for decades.

Thank you! That's very kind. Just experimenting with different things I find interesting, you know keeping it fun. Trying to keep it spontaneous. I like when I surprise myself and the only way to do that is try things while, maybe, keeping influences and sensibilities in mind.

I am also no shredder but I appreciate unconventional chord progressions because they are SO MUCH FUN to play. Nice lyric and cool melodic line. Nice tempo shifts here and there.
Totally with ya. I try to keep it fun and fun to me is a little bit unconventional sometimes.

Really cool chord changes. I like your lyrical phrasing. Awesome guitar and bass playing and tone. Oh wow harmonica too - so nicely in the mix. Super interesting change-up at 2:50 and I am enjoying this outro. Nice use of repetition in your lyrics - and you made this song super memorable. You played all the guitars in this one - wow. Great vocals and backing vocals also. What a song!
Thank you! I was playing with tempo so there's some micro changes in there as well. I'm trying to have more changes in general. I've been waiting to use that harmonica on... something. I can't shred on guitar but I can usually stay in beat 😂 I appreciate you listening and feedback!
