I'm gonna blame @mdavisto for this. 😃 During FAWM I always get comments about how I sound like Sting when I sing. I'd forgotten about it but he made a comment on another song. It's been a while since I did a "Sting" song so I went for it.

It's been raining in LA the past two days. And one of my favorite Police songs is "Walking On The Moon." When I realized "Raining in LA" and "Walking on the Moon" had the same rhythm, I decided to go all in on a "tribute" song. As you can hear, I borrowed heavily from the original: vibe, rhythm, arrangement. But I did not borrow any melodies or chords. So I know this is mine.

I had so much fun making the music. It was super hard to get the swing in the drums like Stewart has on the original. But at the end there are 5 guitars happening. A glorious homage to the master Andy Summers. #rock #reggae #atmospheric #guitar #ambient #reverb
