Today is the first day of the Lunar New Year. No doubt you've heard it's the zodiac year of the horse and the element is fire. That seemed worthy of a short song. (Side note: it's new moon today which is why there are no coyotes howling)

I’m imagining a misty scene with armies moving across a landscape - horses by land, dragon boats by river.

I really love the buildup. In the beginning, it's calming. Then, towards the end, it becomes intense, like fireworks to welcome in the New Year. Keep up the amazing work!

This is quite dramatic! Gives the feeling of a rising sun as the twilight starts to back away until the sun flashes its light across the world. Well done!

Thank you! I'm smiling reading your comment because I've been picturing the horse galloping into the sun and flame wings bursting out(like Pegasus). So I think of it as "bright" rather than "dark". Though in listening again, I totally hear "dark" LOL. Maybe next I'll try to force myself to use major chords :-)
