It's been a long day, so here's another take on the devil's advocate prompt in a different style. Will probably check back later. Interesting prompt and quite fun

Great take on the prompt.

For me the worst thing that has happened during my seven decades is the emergence of the so called "post truth" society. It is no accident that its existence has led to an increase in flat earthers and conspiracy nuts and of course to the election of Trump.

If everyone can simply declare that their take on reality is as valid as anyone else's we are in for a new Dark Age.

I agree with @jem ... no matter how hard it is to comprehend, someone will always think things that we cannot reconcile with reality as we know it. Logic, rationality, scientific evidence ...none of it works. This song does a great job of capturing that "devil's advocate" mentality.

This is so funny, and the dry delivery makes it even more amusing. Like the last flat you sing sounds very decidedly flat.

well, yes, someone will always argue the other side, whether it makes sense or not. I like the delivery and insistent beat on it too - insisting on the argument without relenting is the role of the advocate after all.
