All of my songs are in 6/8

Liner Notes
I thought a bit of light lounge jazz about the lure of the magical time signature might do the trick tonight.
Lyrics
Tempting though it may be To write a crazy melody While sipping champagne in the bath I'll tell you for nothing, love A hook just isn't good enough To capture those ladies at large 'Cos well you know That rhythm deals the blow To bring them right to your door To kiss your feet and drop applause To worship you like you were the last And so I'll write this tune And yess you can assume That all of my songs Are in six eight
Athletes may bring a thrill And chancers always always will And jokers will give you a laugh I'll tell you for nothing love That trinkets just aren't good enough To keep you and keep you entranced 'Cos well you know That rhythm deals the blow To bring them right to your door To kiss your feet and drop applause To worship you like you were the last And so I'll write this tune And yess you can assume That all of my songs Are in six eight

Nothing as good as a in joke….
This tickled my funny bone like nothing else has managed to do so so far this month. There are shades of Half Man Half Biscuit in the depths of the meta-ness of this, and Nigel is not an easy guy to emulate. And it's a fine song in its own right, which makes it even funnier.
Haha this is amazing!! what a translation of that title… can’t relate to the sentiment at all though…..
